About me

Hello, I am Andreas.

I lead teams that bring agentic AI into production at large enterprises, and I still build myself. At adesso I have led delivery teams of up to 35 people. My teams implement agentic software for major companies in medical technology, testing and certification, and other industries, and we run AI assessments across automotive sales, retail, and aftersales. I have been engineering software professionally since 2001, and I started coding in 1996. I am based in Saarbrücken, Germany.

What I bring #

  • Delivery leadership: building and steering teams of up to 35 people, from the first pilot to production.
  • Client responsibility: long-term relationships with enterprise clients, where trust comes from delivering, not from slides.
  • Hands-on depth: I build agentic tooling myself, so I know where it breaks and what it costs.
  • Industry knowledge: automotive (sales, retail, aftersales, and the supplier industry), manufacturing, and logistics.

Why I built aSPARK #

In mixed teams of people and agents, speed is rarely the problem. Determinism and auditability are: who decided what, which rule applied, and can we reproduce it? I believe this needs an open methodology rather than one more closed tool. That is why I build aSPARK in the open: a gated delivery process for Claude Code with traceability, policy as code, and a knowledge graph that links stories, code, tests, and releases.

How I lead #

Teams do their best work when people feel trusted, challenged, and supported. For me, agile leadership is practical day-to-day work, not a slogan:

  • clear goals,
  • short learning cycles,
  • real ownership,
  • regular reflection.

  • Leading AI delivery: team setup, roles, and getting from pilot to production.
  • Governance and auditability for teams where people and agents ship together.

Outside work #

I am a father of two. Parenthood has shaped how I think about leadership and responsibility. I enjoy reading, hiking, and healthy cooking.
